Sticky walls do not equal synthesis
Teams often celebrate a wall of sticky notes as proof of synthesis. The wall is a start, not the system. Without dissent lanes, contradictory quotes get smoothed into averages that nobody recognizes from the field.
We coach cohorts to keep a visible lane for tensions that refuse to merge. That lane becomes the honest input for Message Relay exercises later. It also gives leadership a place to look when they ask why a message feels "off" even if scores look fine.
Finally, tie every cluster to an interview ID. When creatives challenge a theme, you can reopen the exact moment instead of debating memory. That single habit saves weeks on the next launch.
