1. Controller
DevNetwork Stream operates as the data controller for marketing and training records relating to devnetworkstream.one and cohort operations.
2. Categories of data
We process contact details, company names, billing references, attendance logs, support messages, and cookie identifiers described in our Cookie Preferences.
3. Purposes
Data supports enrollment, delivery of programs, alumni follow-up, product improvement, and optional analytics when permitted.
4. Legal bases
Performance of contracts, legitimate interests in securing our services, and consent where required for non-essential cookies or newsletters.
5. Retention
Enrollment records are retained for seven years to meet operational recordkeeping. Marketing consents are refreshed annually or deleted upon withdrawal.
6. Processors and transfers
We use vetted subprocessors for email, scheduling, and hosting. When data leaves Japan we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses where applicable.
7. Your rights
Under the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (APPI) you may request access, correction, deletion where permitted, restriction, and explanation of cross-border transfers.
8. Security
We apply role-based access, encryption in transit, and vendor reviews. No method is perfect; please report suspected incidents promptly.
9. Children
Services are aimed at professionals. We do not knowingly collect data from children under sixteen without guardian consent.
10. Updates
Material changes will be posted here with a new last updated date and, when practical, emailed to active cohort participants.
